Costa Ricans Banned From La Ruta

I agree with what you have said about Ben, we know that Ben Bostrom is going to show everyone that he is not just a superstar motorcycle racer, but a very special world class athlete. He is so focused, he made a La Ruta rookie mistake yesterday, he brought a air canister for his flats and didnt have a back up hand pump, that really cost him as he had to ride about 45k on a tire with only 15lbs of air. We have first class support for he and Manuel, however with Manuel leading the race, the support team needed to go with Manuel, and Ben completly understands that. He will have a complete bike repair kit with him, heck after his broken chain and flat yesterday, he may even carry an extra bike on his back :). Today Ben and Manuel will both protect thier positions and let things come to them, if they have an opportunity to advance time or position, they will take it, but the name of the game today is no issues and Ben will protect Manny.

Colt you are doing an amazing job for the Moutian Bike community.......Keep it up and let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

Manny and Ben looked outstanding yesterday. Ben might just ride his way into the top 5 overall with some good luck.

We at Team Sho-Air support Manuel Prado's decision to race at this year's La Ruta 100%. This will be the 6th time Manuel will be competing in this event and he has brought American Motorcycling Super Star and Team Sho-Air teammate Ben Bostrom with him to compete. Ben is very excited to be a part of this event and he has fallen in love with Costa Rica and its people. We at Team Sho-Air hope that the La Ruta Management and the Costa Rican Federation can work out their differences and come to a beneficial agreement for all, as we consider this one of the greatest Mountain Bike events in the world.
