Great insight into the Jr Worlds selection! Thanks for asking some tough questions and thanks to JHK for sheading some light on them. I have an up and coming Jr racer that is looking to make the team in a few years. It seems counter productive not to take more of our top 6 or 7 Jr racers to worlds. If the top racers that do not make the top 2 or 3 spots are willing to pay their own way, we should allow them to go. How else are we going to get more top Jr racers this type of experience?

Good Job of articulating the balance...I am actually going to have a few juniors watch this as a window into selection.

JHK On Worlds Selection Process

The question gets raised every year: Why are we only sending "x" riders to worlds when we could be sending "y"? We sat down with Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski in New York to get the dirt on the situation. Take a listen for yourself and let us know what you think. Should we only send the best, or does everyone who wants a spot deserve one?
