Katie Compton Post Race Bump N' Gring
Katie's day went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in the course of three laps at the Bump N' Grind. She was sitting comfortably at the front of the race in a group of three when asthma struck hard. She went from 3rd, to 6th, to stopping, to the hospital. After a couple hours in the ER and some O2 she was fine. We caught up later that night to talk about the race, and her future plans on the Mountain Bike.June 1, 2009
