It has been at least a week since I have have last rode outdoors. I thought New Years Day would be a good day to get out, and at first it seemed warm enough. Everything was fine until my long descent on the return trip. Once again I got so cold I could not feel my fingers.
This is parts of my ride between Idledale and I-70 on the gravel mountain road Grapevine Rd. It is pretty steep, luckily it is only a few miles long.
