Ok, this seems like a very heated argument. My opinion is yes, Page is a little bit of a dick and really needs to learn how to act like the proffesional he is. I also believe that Page is leading the way for other NA athletes to eventually become full time riders in europe. Which is what we need to happen for Americans and Canadians to ever stand a chance over there. People need to stop bitching at him and start following in his footsteps. And its all the Page-haters out there that are holding people back by making him seem like the enemy. |

real, with all the glory comes the criticizm. All pro athletes are open to criticizm just as all of us are. But I will not stoop to your level of name calling. Since this is a comment section of the site I thought we were allowed to make comments. Sorry, you are unhappy that not everyone thinks JP is great or cares that he was 3rd in a Euro B race. Personally, I am not going to go do a cat 2 race. I am going to find a lower race with less competion so I can get a good result. If I don't I am going to complain and make excuses to anyone who will listen. I may also go confront other riders while they are in the middle of interviews. |

Let him race wherever the hell he wants to. Are you paying his salary? You are all just a bunch of losers that will never be in his position and just want to criticize. He's probably just tired of racing these flat easy dry courses in American soil!!!! Mind your business and get a life or just go do your cat 2 races! |

TJ , Powers and Trebon all could have shot at racing full time in Europe if they pleased , but they want to stay on NA soil because it is their home, which is understandable . Give credit where it is due , it takes a lot to turn your back on comfort and chase your dreams , which is exactly what page did/is doing in Belgium. |

No one believes the US is the best at cross and I sure don't believe any on the US cross racers can really race with the best in the world. I just think Page is a sore looser who always has a complaint and an excuse when he does not win which is the norm. It seems like there is always drama around him. I surely will not say he is no good. I will say he was real good but now is average. He is a average cross racer on the world scene and will be back in the US next year because no one will pay him to get the results he is getting right now. I would rather see TJ, JPows, Trebon or someone else get a shot at being a full time cross racer in Europe to see what they can do. |

This is coming forma Tim Johnson fan , Jon Page is a better racer than TJ and everyone else in North America when the competition is at its highest level. Anyone who openly criticizes Page for his result, and thinks he is no good obviously has never raced in Europe , and , exemplified by the fact you guys don't know why he wasn't at the WC ( spanish air traffic strike), you guys really don't know up from down. |
