Helmet Cam footage today by 3rd place Alex Grant (CFR)

BOOM! Ben Sonntag CRUSHES stage 1 of La Ruta! Attacks group of 3 with 5k to go on a 3k, 30% dirt road climb. Columbian 2nd @ ~2min, Alex Grant 3rd at ~5min. Ramerez (5 time defending champ) blew on the long road climb. Sam Schultz flatted in the jungle, rejoined the leaders and pushed the pace on the 30k road climb but flatted on the decent for the 2nd time. Lost a lot of time with a bad change. Maybe 20 min. Welcome to La Ruta! Defending champ Manny Prado didn't have the legs from the start. ~20 min back. Solid start for Thomas Turner from GA. Top 20 and looked smooth. Excellent video, please keep posting more videos of every stage, for tomorrow it should be very interesting to watch the top guys on the first 15 km of the race which have very STEEP sections
