Over the past 10 years the Iceman has quietly become one of America's single largest mountain bike events. It's cult like following shows up the first weekend of November in the thousands to ride an unspectacular course in unspectacular weather conditions. CyclingDirt traveled North to Traverse City, Michigan this weekend to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out, it was about a lot.

Watching that video I'd have to say besides Matter, it looks like Bishop was the strongest. From the footage he seems to be pushing it every time the pace slowed, taking the tougher lines to get to the front and hammer.

LAME? Are you Fing kidding me? No one ever called it a super technical mtb race. And I don't know what your talking about Wells for. It's not a competition of who's stronger, it's who can get to the finish line first. period.

Matter was like a fortune teller in this one with that pre race interview, "I'm going to attack." Brilliant.
