Sonya Looney breaks down on stage 9 of the Yak Attack mountain bike endurance race which takes place in the Himalayas in freakin' Nepal.

Discovering that her brakes have failed, Sonya Looney gets emotional in the face of an eight mile downhill hike-a-bike and a potential forty mile downhill hike-a-bike beyond that.

And hey, remember this negative commenting guy: if you say something denigrating about Sonya, it's clearly obvious to the rest of us that you are just overcompensating for your own insecurities and that you are nowhere near as tough or hardcore as she is and that you probably cry when you get a flat tire during your Wednesday night group ride.

Awwwww my freaking gosh. Of all the times that brakes fail, it just had to happen now. I reaaalllllyyyy hope she didn't have to deal with those 48 miles...I'm so sorry Sonya!

This seems more like a ride, than a "race". 3 women "raced" maybe? Maybe 5 guys "raced". I'm sure going to Nepal was nice, however, and I would call this a fun life experience/adventure, not a bike race.

I was bummed for you...someone who obviously loves to ride as much as you do, and to have the brakes go out...that just plain SUCKS!! I have no doubt you pressed on and persevered using passion as your fuel. Hang in there...
