The UCI road teams hire the most talented off-road talent. Off-road is simply development for road teams.

Just like the U.S. medical care system, USACDF (not USAC!) has to be the most expensive athlete development system in the world.
Colt, maybe you can figure out how so much money vanishes into USACDF?
Is Weisel's "charge what the market will bear" strategy killing the Sea Otter promoter's finances yet? I'd be interested to see some data on race attendance.

That picture of Brian Lopes at 1:02 is not Brian Lopes. He has not ridden for Yeti in the last several years (I am unsure if he ever did). I believe it is a picture of Chris Boice.

Cyclingdirt, please make sure you use the correct picture. These racers spend an enormous amount of time getting together sponsors and training and they need to be accurately represented in press photos.

i wasnt crazy about the eliminator. it was too many short races. i like stxc much better. i like the pack aspect of stxc. however it was awesome watching lopes blast out of the box and crush everyone!
