Video from the Elite Men USA XC Mountain Bike National Championships 2012. As it should have been, the two men representing USA at the Olympic games later this summer joined together and separated themselves from the pack on lap 1 of 6. Todd Wells and Sam Schultz went blow for blow, each taking their chance attacking the front. With a poorly timed flat for Wells and a flawless final lap for Schultz, the young Subaru/ Trek rider was able to claim his first ever Elite US National Title. JHK, Ryan Trebon, and Jeremiah Bishop rounded out the podium in Sun Valley, Idaho.
