Colt why is it every video that I click on turns into Powers fireside chat?

Battle Of The B's goes to MATTER! Wisco Wins! Was a lot closer than I thought it would be. Matter and Krughoff are no joke either but I think Brian showed he is the 'best of the rest' in US cross and should be the next guy picked up by a big team.

Butler 6 months ago

USGP USGP USGP!!! I'll be watching it live this weekend on the trainer! GET SOME!

Kevin Maldonado 6 months ago

24 hours to Louisville. Can't wait. 17 of the top 20 (26 of the top 30) on your list are preregistered on Bikereg. Your job next week should be easy. The roadies, JHK and Page, who opted to skip the showdown should be dropped from the list next week. If you don't come to the dance, you can't kiss the prom queen.

Anonymous Coward 6 months ago

Looks like Adam Myerson is Louisville bound as well! Let's see if he can back up that 15-20th place he said he's capable of! I think he can do it but I can also easaly see him going 30th. This is a big one!

Battle of the B's is on! I say:

Lindine 8th
Matter 12th
Krughoff 15th

@Alice,

You're 2 months too late http://www.debbieandcolt.com

@Heule,

To be ranked, you must fist race! Might I suggest a full face helmet and some body armor next time!
Hope you're all heeled up and ready to go!

heule 7 months ago

colt you must really hate me!
i hope the following weekend gives you enough reasons to put me back on your list and not only on 16 like two weeks ago
cheers

Why is Trebon not doing the World Cups this year? He and Jeremy seem pretty evenly matched this season and Powers has been going everywhere to score points and do everything to be on the front row of the World Champs in Louisville. Wouldn't Trebon need to be on the schedule too?

Alice 7 months ago

Are you single? Just asking..

Ly 7 months ago

Meredith Miller is quietly having a super 'cross season this Fall! hasn't been winning but is right there every week. Hopefully Katie and Katerina will take a weekend off and she'll get her chance to shine!

CYCLOBALL!!!!!!!!! Whatttt!?!?? Where can I sign up?

Georgia actually use to be an avid smoker, like less than 10 years ago.

Heckle For Georgia Gould 7 months ago

Quit while you are ahead. You are only going to get slower!! Go to the local gas station, pick up a pack of Marlboro Cigarette and taking up smoking cigarettes. It's a win win for you!

Anonymous Coward 7 months ago

Matter is going to take the Battle Of The B's easily this week! As Colt pointed out, he beat Schouten at Iceman this weekend who is ranked much higher. Lindine and Krughoff are up and coming for sure but I think Brian is already amongst the Elite of the Elites.

Dave McElwaine F 7 months ago

Great job as usual and quite entertaining!

Dylan McNicholas is the best racer I have seen who is not doing the national series. He goes to the front and attacks unmercifully. If he came to Louisville this weekend I think he could finish in the top ten!
I almost nailed the prediction last week in Cincinnati if TG had not crashed on Sunday. He has a win or two in him....count on it.
Luke Keough...20 years old. He is the future along with Danny and Zach. But, Keough is waaay better than these guys were at his age.
Georgia Gould....best sense of humor and humility of any racer in the USA. She is confident of her abilities. Count on her to be on the podium both days in Louisville!
Barry Wicks.....please suck it up. There is NO WAY you belong out of the top ten in Louisville.
What is going on with Heule? Injury knock him out?

davemess 7 months ago

Colt, I fail to see your reasoning about Logan Owen. I mean, he is racing the ELITE races in Seattle. If you are ranking other racers on non-UCI elite cross races in the US (See Cross Crusade or CO races), then he should also be able to get a ranking based on his MFC results.
Continually comparing him to masters riders doesn't make sense. He has not choice as to whether he can race UCI Elite. Masters riders do have a choice and chose masters racing.

Slime Time 7 months ago

@All Trolls- If all 60 of these men lined up against each other i a race tomorrow, this would be a pretty freakin accurate results! Certainly more accurate than any other set of 'rankings' out there anywhere. So haters can shove it.

Alex 7 months ago

Sven Nys,

See "approximate formula" above! Lindine has been ahead of those guys in all the past weeks but this week's rankings reflect his crappy result at CSI and some of those other guys great results elsewhere. There is so much talent in North America right now that 1 off weekend by a guy and a few good rides by others can really add up to a big fall. Like last week with ryan and jeremy, we'll all finally get to see where Lindine really belongs after Louisville.

Sven Nys 7 months ago

Also - why is Page on this list - he is basically done racing in the US this year. Also, Chris Jones is very fast but he barely races now. drop him off the list.

Sven Nys 7 months ago

This list is fun but beyond stupid. A guy like Lindine has never lost to Troy Wells this year and is dropped way below him on the list because he has an off weekend and goes 6th and 4th (finishing with the lead group but losing out in a sprint to - sprinters). Keough has 2 wins against Lindine this year, Lindine has every other race he entered he beat Keough. The rankings are idiotic after the top 10.

Johnson 7 months ago

Christian Heule dropped *off* the list? That's harsh or did he retire?

Michael E. 7 months ago

Great stuff like always keep it up can't wait to see my first Pro race this weekend at Louisville and race the same course. I'll be doubling up both days cause I'm crazy. Hopefully I'll see you guys up there. Love what you guys are doing for the sport of cycling and cyclocross. Georgia better go ahead and bring an extra box of Luna bars to Louisville for you guys this weekend HILARIOUS !!!!

Damian 7 months ago

I see how this goes. Once out of the top 10 it really depends on:

50% did you get a video on cyclingdirt this week
25% do you race on the east coast
20% the cross crusade is really just a side show
5% Colt gets lazy after top 20 (I mean #36 Boobs went 3-0 vs #26 Kaiser and dropped 3 spots?)
That being said. Awesome job and fun to see folks (myself included) get worked up.
