kapten Obvious, It's not the mtb scene that need to wake up, its usac. The president hates mtb and that's why they try there best to make it as crappy as possible. How can we make sure that over have the country doesn't come? Oh I know! Let's put the starting line at 9000'!! Ok well that just leaves the other half, well we can just bulldozes out the crappiest course possible and hope anyone who has ever ridden singletrack will hate it and not come, but we will add a few rock for the people who like to ride on that kind of stuff... We don't need usac. We need to get them out. |

two differences - A) there's NOTHING going on in December in cycling except 'cross, B) USAC puts mtb nationals in the middle of nowhere C) CX nats in compressed into a park, in the middle of downtown, in the middle of a cycling town. |

Sorry Colt, yesterday it was -12 in Madison, but today it's a balmy 16. Oh, and that's not with the wind chill, that was just the temperature. |
