Totally agreed. Gogo has been murdering names and messing up calls for a couple of years now. Fort. for me, I was able to be there in Bend, and was spared listening to his boring call. I do, however get the Universal channell and unfortunately, they have him doing most of the commentary for the races they carry. The fact that Universal sports carries all these cycling events is great. Don't get me wrong. Now they just need to bring in somebody with some charisma, and knowledge...and WHO CAN PRONOUNCE NAMES RIGHT. Come on Gogo.....do your homework. even better...stay home. Colt would have relayed the excitment a thousand times better. Keep up the great coverage Colt. Chapeau! |

It's been said 900 times already, but maybe if it's said enough we wont have to listen to these guys again next year. They were awful! Colt, we want YOU on the mic and your crew doing the feed. We need someone who knows what's going on filming this stuff. Is that really that hard to understand? What you've done for Cyclocross the past two seasons has been the best thing to ever happen to the sport in the US. I've written to USA Cycling saying the same thing. You've done so much to support 'cross in the US and then as typical USA Cycling tries to stand on everyones shoulders and take credit for themselves. I hope they realize their mistake on this one and support the people who are supporting the sport! |

Hey guys, remember Go-Go? You know, Go-Go from velocenter? Scott Gogulski? Such a great name for a noob commentator. I really don't care how decorated of a cyclist he is. Sorry Cyclingdirt, the posters below are right--Colt was the man and still is when he blows an O-ring announcing the races. I felt like I was watching golf with Go-Go in my ear. Better luck next year. |

SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED by the commentary! I expected to tune in and listen to the great people (Colt, etc.) that did an awesome job all year of broadcasting and taking cyclocross to the next level. There is a reason I stopped going to Velonews and stopped watching Velocenter........... |

The commentating on the live feed SUCKED. If I don't know what cross is I'm probably not watching. And if I do happen to tune in, hearing two mellow-yellows tell me it's a "cross" between road bicycling and mountain bicycling is not going to make me stay around. IF however I'm new to the sport and I tune in to Colt going apeshit as someone launches an attack or closes a gap, I'm going to watch just to see what happens next! An hour later I'll still be there and know exactly what ;cross is without having to be talked to like a 9 year old. |
