CyclingDirt announces the Men and Women who will make the team for the 2012 Olympic Games. The spring World Cup season is a wrap and it's time to set our sights on London. Mountain Bike racing hits the island August 11-12 and CyclingDirt will be on the scene! All CyclingDirt selections are officially unofficial. Officially.
Georgia exploded onto the mountain bike scene with a win at the 2006 U.S. National Mountain Bike Championships. She followed that up by steamrolling the competition in 2007, winning the season-opening Pan American Championship, the Sea Otter Classic and every cross-country race in the U.S. National Mountain Bike series, capping off the year with an overall win in the USGP Cyclo-cross series. She also made her first podium in a European World Cup race; an incredible accomplishment considering it was her first year of World Cup racing.
Georgia grew up in Baltimore, attended boarding school at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Montana.
