Absolutely love what you are doing here on Cyclingdirt! From what I've seen, it is just you doing all this coverage? If so, that is simply incredible. The big cycling media sites have tons of staff and your stuff is still 10x better. Keep killing it!

I enjoy making predictions as much as the next person, and while I'm a huge fan of CyclingDirt and everything they are doing for the sport, I think I'll sit this one out. You see, I won this contest last year and didn't receive anything in the way of promised 'prizes', not to mention the MTB nationals contest this summer that - as far as I can tell - never had any results or winners even posted. I enjoyed the little video snippets of Colt sneaking around and 'stealing' the prizes from Todd, Ryan, etc... but just out of curiosity, did anyone actually win anything?

Beth Smith 1 year ago

Forgot the tie breaker!... 63:09

This may be totally untrue, but I feel like Nationals always seems to go an extra lap compaired to most UCi races where they tend to keep them on the short side to be safe. I think Powers and Johnson, in a 55 min race in bend are very close. Powers has the edge in fitness 60/40. Johnson has the edge in handling 60/40. But add another 10 minutes to drain Powers and I think Johnson's veteran legs will have the slight edge.

Johnson wins by 8 seconds!
