WTF. Sad sad sad. What have you done?!

noah 6 months ago

this site sucks without colt.

logic 6 months ago

we didn't get any Lousiville USGP coverage, but HEY! Garmin Mount Review!!!

Jed Zilla 6 months ago

I *heard* of a CX race in Louisville this past weekend. Something to do with a World Championship in 2013. Coverage? #freecolt

Bummer you guys aren't communicating to your fans about the future of Who's #1 or for that matter your entire site. Who's #1? Not Cyclingdirt.org

Jed Zilla 6 months ago

Marc,

Couldn't have said better myself and way to add to the metaphors!

Marc Bertucco 6 months ago

Jed, while I agree that "Who's #1" needs to be addressed, the bigger issue for me is this weird split in content between two websites that appear to be the same, yet are not. For example, at first, all CSI coverage was on a website, bigbikesmedia.cyclingdirt.org and nothing was on cyclingdirt.org. Now it appears that CSI coverage has migrated over to cyclingdirt.org, but Cincinnati coverage cannot be found on bigbikesmedia.cyclingdirt.org.

Also where is the latest episode of Behind the Barriers? On vimeo and velonews, but not on either of the "dirt.org" sites.
One thing is clear, both sites are a hot mess right now and need a serious pit stop, power washing and change in tire pressure to regain traction (see what I did there? haha.) Seriously though, hoping the new corporate overlords can get it together soon.

Hey Cycling Dirt: Time to get focused and get the rankings up or take them down. You have some big shoes to fill with Colt's departure and right now you, yes, you Cycling Dirt are DFL! Get to the pits change your ride and get your collective sh*t together...

Marc Dettman 6 months ago

This doesn't appear to work. Why don't you just take it down? Colt's gone, right?

Marc Bertucco 6 months ago

Will miss the unique flavor that Colt that used to bring to cyclingdirt. Really not a fan of the corporate take-over in general, although I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. I guess for one, we won't be getting a "Who's #1" anymore...

First road racing is in shambles, now cyclingdirt. What to do with all the free time ?.....thanks Colt, the exposure you gave mtb and cross has changed the sport

Randy- garrigan has only raced a few weekends,,, 15th in glocester 13 in providence and a few "crappy" top 10s at downeast... Plus I think he has a job. Why rank him?

Randy 7 months ago

No Mike Garrigan?

Dave McElwaine F 7 months ago

And....totally tired of hearing about these other contributors!

Anonymous Coward 7 months ago

What about Elle Anderson? She won Spooky cross in front of Teal, Caroline Mani, Mycal , etc...

Dave McElwaine F 7 months ago

Funny stuff. Please move Ben Berden ahead of Zach MacDonald. Head to head, I'll take Ben every time despite Zach's awesome ride in PVD. Yeah....let's give Ellen Noble her due. She belongs in the high 20's somewhere now. Based on last weekend, Timmerman needs to move ahead of McNicholas.

Ellen Noble, 6th and 3rd @ Downeast......
