As the women filled the start grid the wind decided to slowly pick up. Katerina Nash (Luna) was looking to sweep the weekend as she continues to race herself into shape. Mani looked for a better start from the night before. Meredith Miller (Cal Giant) still all smiles from her impressive finish yesterday wanted to get on the podium again. When the bell rang it was clear the Julie Krasniak (Rapha-Focus) wanted redemption. Nash and Krasniak made their way from the rest and took turns pulling on the long fast straights. Nash eventually attacked Krasniak and opened up a big gap. Nicole Duke (Alchemy) had a good start, but with just one bike for the race it quickly became heavy anchor. She was resourceful, riding through puddles and scraping mud from the down-tube with her hands. Other rider took bike changes every lap.

The wind picked up for the first time all weekend and Miller, who had a strong ride the night before, was slowing down in the heavy mud. Mani who had a better start, but not great, was head down picking riders off each lap. She overtook Duke and starting making her way to Krasniak. Krasniak was putting time into Nash, but Nash was clearly aware and took time back. The rain started with 2 to go and riders were not letting up, the heavy mud made for slick corners and anything could happen. The rain came down harder on the last lap and riders were sure to not make any mistakes.
Nash took her second win for the weekend. Krasniak 2nd and Mani 3rd.
