USA Cycling License required UCI license required for UCI races. Riders entering Elite Men's, Elite Women's and Under 23 Mens races MUST have a UCI/USCF International License. UCI rules will apply. A Domestic USA Cycling license is acceptable for other categories and are run under a USAC permit. One Day licenses can be purchased at registration for $10 the day of each race. Pre-registration is available online at www.bikereg.com until Thursday Oct 18th. Online Service fee based on bikereg.com standard service fee. Day of registration available from 7:00am each day until 30 minutes before scheduled start time for that race. There will be an additional race day registration fee of $5 in all fields except Junior 10-14. Regular mail registration can be sent payable to Downeast Cyclocross, mail to Rainbow Bicycle 945 Center st., Auburn, ME, 04210. Regular mail entries must be received by Monday Oct. 15th. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS Riders in UCI events will be staged by UCI rankings, then random drawing of lots. Pre-registered riders in USAC events will be staged by NECXS standings where applicable, then Crossresults.com rankings, then order of registration. For Non UCI events mountain bikes without bar ends are acceptable. Helmets are required at all times during the weekend. Jerseys must have sleeves ( no tank tops or vests). Races may be combined if less than 10 riders are pre-registered for a class. Riders in elite races will be pulled from the race if about to be lapped per UCI rules. All other events are subject to the discretion of the chief referee. Course will be open for warm up in the morning until 15 minutes before the start of the Cat 4 Men race, and between the Cat 3 Men and Elite Women race, otherwise no warming up on the course at any time. Neutral Support by Mark will be provided in the Pit area. Directions- Take the Maine Turnpike to Exit 63 in Gray, Maine. Bear to the right after the toll booth toward the center of Gray Village. Stay in the right lane. At the first intersection, go straight through the light onto rt 115 and continue on rt 115(east) then turn left onto Mill St.. Continue on Mill till you reach Rt 231/ Intervale Rd. Turn left onto rt 231/ Intervale road and look for parking directions. Check out the event venue at www.pinelandfarms.org there is plenty there to keep the whole family interested for the weekend. ALSO- Dogs are not allowed at Pineland farms, you won't be allowed to bring your dog out of the car even if on a leash, sorry!
