The wait is over, big time 'cross racing is here in the USA! UCI C1 racing kicked off this week under the lights in Las Vegas and again a few days later in Sun Praire, Wisconsin at the first round of USGP. Things only get better from here with New England's Holy Week on the horizon with C1's in Gloucester and Providence coming up. Here's how the field stacks up after week three..

Fluckiger wasn't on the list 'cause he wasn't racing cross. But he's coming off the silver medal at mtb world championships. He's got the best form of any guy on this list right now, probably should have won all 3 races he did. Wasn't at all a surprise to see him ride as well as he did. Johnson went from getting beat by Driscoll and Bazin and VERGE last weekend to finishing second at crossvegas. any jump of more that 1 or 2 places when you're already in the top 5 is huge. |
