"THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE! DON'T YOU KNOW ANYTHING?"
(#This Week. Name (Team) #Last Week)
Approximate Formula:
25% What you've done so far this season
50% What you did this past weekend
20% What we think you'll do in next two weeks
5% Feeling pressure from lobbyists in comment section
(sometimes we miss something, let us know below!)
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?"
-no.
Great stuff this week. Can't argue much with the ratings. While it was brave of Ryan to race on Sunday, it was very painful (for me) to see him barely able to climb the stairs. I sincerely hope he did not make his injury worse by racing. Jeremy told me that Todd Wells is one of the riders he really respects. Given Todd's ability to peak for nationals, both he and Ryan are going to have to deal with a fresh defending champion. Tristen Schouten and Brian Matter split the weekend so Tristen should be rated above Brian based on prior record. Jon Page has a mystery illness that apparently could nix his season. Word is that he is trying to figure out what is wrong.I am sorry that Katie Compton was so-off-the-front because she could use some in-the-pack racing to get ready for her upcoming European campaign. Kaitie Antonneau certainly was amazing and is only going to get better. Not to diminish Katie's accomplishments but Katerina Nash was sick both days in Louisville and could be seen vomiting during the race. If she were not so humble, that would have been taken into account. Crystal Anthony cannot beat the top 22 women on a regular basis....but she is a tad better than 28th. I love it that Jesse is sticking up for his sister.I sincerely doubt that you will see team-mates Heather Irmiger, JHK, and Emily Batty racing much more cross. It is critical for them to get ready for an Olympic year on the mountain bikes. Might as well drop them from the list.Yes, Colt is some sort of savant when it comes to remembering this stuff. Also, you should try watching this week's video with the sound turned off. Hysterical.
