I expect we'll see a big jump from the Canadian National Champ this week, Mr. Chris Sheppard. Getting it done in the mud and on the fast track.

-Plus a bunch of the guys ranked higher than both were not even in this race. You don't get ranked top 10 unless you've recently finished top 5 in a USGP. not top 27!

Ryan "Bangable" Knapp HAS TO BE TOP 31 if for no other reason than he was named as a 2011 CX Most Bangable Rider!! Come on CyclingDirt.......gotta give props when props are due....

Every week has been a different picture for Kabush. So funny!

Colt, this is so cool! Thank you for all you do for Cyclocross!

Where's Ashley James this season?? She's got to be the only women to win a UCI race last season who is not ranked yet. Has she started racing yet?

10. Chloe Forsman will be getting married in Boulder on Saturday then racing the Ft. Collins USGP on Sunday! THAT'S a honeymoon!

I am loving the excitement in the commentating! Way more entertaining than someone reading from a script. Although, would like to see more clips during the review. Overall you guys are doing awesome work, keep it up!

Trebon is about to go on a winning streak like you don't even know! Powers is riding with December form in Sep. While he's paying for the hard start Jonson and the rest will make him look silly but no one will touch Trebon is October!

This gets me in the mood for some 'cross! I feel like i'm watching cycling sportscenter. Awesome!

Ezra 2 years ago

What about Wicks and Lindine? Lindine has been consistent top 5 the last three races. Colt I like your comment about how we don't host many races on the East Coast. I would like to see more big races on the East Coast again.

@The WISCO lovers/haters,

I hear you both. Neither Brian or Tristan have had a great early season, but I look at 15 and 19 and also think they should be higher. Looking ahead however, who do they pass and why? 'Cmoney" made a great point as to why Berden should be ranked higher than Driscol this week and it was changed. Don't just tell me what place they finished and how they're wicked awesome dudes... tell me who's spot you think they deserve and why.

@Cmoney,

Good catch! You're absolutely right about Berden vs Driscoll. That was a mistake. Has been adjusted!

Flatty 2 years ago

Matter and Schouten are right were they belong.

Tristan especially has been off to a pretty slow start. 9th in Gloucester? figure in that 10 of the guys in front of him in the rankings weren't there and there's your 19th ranking... not hard to understand.
As for Brian Matter... what do you mean no respect?? How much higher do you want him? The HIGHEST you could possibly rank him here would be 13th if you thought he was better than Troy Wells, which he wasn't in Wisco. And Sheppard has been FLYING this season in the North West.

CMoney 2 years ago

How is Berden behind Driscoll when he was ahead of him both days at Gloucester?

Ralph Pulver 2 years ago

Tristan Schouten does deserve better than 19th ranking. There is alot of X season yet to take place and let's hope he continues to gain further traction on the races leading to Madison.

criteriumracer 2 years ago

No love for the WISCO duo, Schouten and Matter! Especially for Tristain, 6th and 9th last weekend at Gloucester, and you have him at 19th?!?

steevo 2 years ago

Tristian S is better than 19. Dude is legit lead group right now

Amex 2 years ago

I don't think Johnson is any slower this year than last, I think Jeremy is just 5% better and that's the difference. Trebon also seems to have his old form back. 2nd, 3rd, 4th is still very good for Tim. He'll get his handful of wins when those guys have slightly off days, but on average I don't think you'll see him any higher than 3rd in the rankings.

Comtpon VS Nash this weekend is going to be EPIC!!!

cross monk 2 years ago

This is nasty! Love what you guys are doing!!

Winless Timmy 2 years ago

OHHH SNAP. That just happened!

With you though. Tim's not riding bad, in fact he might be riding at the same level as last year, guys like Trebon and Powers have just been better so far. But for now, Winless Timmy it is!

Lars Vandercrosx 2 years ago

Lindine Smoked Wicks day 2 and was 11th day 1.

PDX Dave 2 years ago

I know Summerhill is older leaving Zach McDonald, Luke Keough and Cody Kieser. Who are the other U23 guys this season? Seems like a really small group??

Dave McElwaine F 2 years ago

Great job. Love the Kabush photos! Good call on Andrea Smith.....the woman is a monster on the bike. As for Tim Johnson, he has made one of the most dramatic improvements in a few weeks that I have ever seen. His fitness is now just a lap or two from being a dominator again. Nicole Duke....fire in those eyes. She wants this bad. Your live feed of the Nash/Compton battle better work this weekend....because I am taking the week off to watch from Tucson!

Coming up this weekend! NASH VS COMPTON in Ft. Collins! Nash beat Compton last year in Ft. Collins on day 1 and Compton wom Sunday. This'll be their first head to head meeting this Fall. Going to be sick!

Watch it Live on CyclingDirt!

What's the deal-e-o with Adam Myerson this Fall? Coming off his his best cross season ever I expected better from him. Any news on him?
