As ridiculous as it is to respond to you, dick extraordinaire, I feel compelled. Firstly, unless you're one of the top 6 consistently in either the USGP or UCI, shut your invalid mouth. Secondly, although I don't know Jesse all that well he was a nice solid guy with nothing but nice things to say, and give advice for upcoming riders. Under your tough speculation and standards, every rider that is flown to races should be winning and producing a 'return for the team'. Get a clue dude, he is finishing in the top 10 and giving Cal-Giant tons of publicity. Just go back to your local cx races and finish in the rears, giving your coworkers epic excuses as to why you didn't win. Jesse rules, nuff said.

Struggling through injuries and mono probably explains why Jesse left team type 1, but with his road results this year I highly doubt Kelly Benefits wouldn't want him back. Also, if you had read any of his comments after nationals (i.e., not being able to be like Tim in 07, 09 with a full road and cross season) you might understand why he skipped some races to rest. Jesse should always be shown some respect in cyclocross because of his palmares. Also, as someone that raced with him for many years he is not a dick and I think the vast majority of people would agree that he is not one. If you're going to hate just for the sake of hating at least make it make sense.

What a joke. He flies around the country all season and he had like 3? top 10's. Not much return on Berry Teams investment. Then he skips local New England UCI races like Northampton because he puts himself in this elite class of guys who skip races like that. Maybe Jeremy and TJ, yeah, but Jesse sucks. He has used up his lifelines with all of these teams he has been on in the past few years. Hopefully he disappears soon. He's notorious for being a dick, thats why his retention rate on teams is poor.
