Guys,
Thank you, I really appreciate all your support for CyclingDirt and myself! But cut USA Cycling some slack here. It was their first live event with a new crew and they did a great job just to pull it off and have a live stream. Trust me, getting Live is 90% of the battle. Not to mention all their other responsibilities all week just making sure the event is running smoothly. 'Cross is clearly growing when all we have to complain about is wanting better Live broadcasts! Hopefully we can get our own crew in their next year and blow this thing up! We've got big plans for the future, and I appreciate all of you coming along for the ride!

Lot's of people summing this up.
1) Give Colt the Mic and some technology, he'll kick some bootie. He actually KNOWS most of the racers.
2) The viewers generally know who the racers are, and what cross is. We don't need an explanation of what cross is at an elementary level. If the announcers knew who anyone was, they wouldn't nedd that filler.
3) Since the viewers are watching too see their racers. SHOW THEM! Props to Katie and Georgia, but almost nobody here wanted to see a time trial.
4) Announcers - camera coordinator...When you talk about the epic battle between teammates that's going on, don't show Meredith Miller for 30 seconds having a jacket put over her shoulder after the finish. Meredith was great! But there was major action going on behind her. Men's race? Check out the comments from your other viewers.
5) Thank you for trying, but just bring back Colt and give him the support that he deserves. I would actually throw down some cash for Colt, but not for the show that was botched today.

Boy good thing they showed us the crowd after the first three came in and didn't show anyone else finishing. TERRIBLE COVERAGE. So disappointed !!!

i'd rather see colt out there screaming into an iphone and holding it up above the crowd than watch kids slide down mud piles and learn about how cyclocross is kind of like steeplechase, mountain biking, and road racing, or where barry wicks lives.
