I think it was pretty hilarious. He's just frustrated and not gonna bulls(*& everyone and act like he's pysched. If you've never raced I don't think you are allowed to have an opinion on the matter.

He's clearly violating the "don't be that guy" code which at the pro/elite level should also include "don't sponsor that guy."

Its not planet bike. They do sponsor a lot in the sport and cool folks at that. Now for page, they can't wipe his tears all the time when things don't go right.. When times get tough for pro athletes they should step. He clearly thinks that since he races in Europe everyone should bow down to him. The guys he is racing against aren't shleps. New Englander brings up some good points, especially the one about he and Well's. i saw that video also. You're a pro racing against pros-step up. I'm more pissed that he says he happy to be leaving the US and not racing here anymore-thats b/s.

Page has lots of drama around him.
His short lived contract with Sunweb/Projob or whatever that team was in Europe. The owner ended up slamming him in the media.

He was at the center of a heckling/brawl at Natz in 2008 in KC.

He was in more controversy when he failed to report to drug control, because he had crashed out. He whined his way out of that, after a months long melowdrama.

There was Gloucester last year when 2 bike racers fought for a single line going into the sand. I've watched the video 100s of times and still can't see what TJ did wrong. He was in front, he gets to choose his line. Page shouldn't have ridden into him. Looks like he took himself out.

I also remember some video of Natz in 2007 where Page was putting the body on Todd Wells something awful in STRAIGHT sections. Todd even spoke about it after the race.

Now he's making a fool of himself again. He deserves all these negative comments. He acted like a complete ass, and looked about ready to cry, much like his interview after worlds a couple years ago. His behavior during those interviews is BIZARRE. He's butting into everyone elses interview then he has nothing of substance to say in his own and very unprofessionally walks away from his interviewer.

I'm extremely proud that Tim, Jamey and especially the uber classy JPows are from New England. I'm embarrassed that Page is from here. Go back to Europe JP, you're a HUGE talent, get your head right. You are NOT a victim. Man up and race your bike. Use all this crap as fuel to turn the cranks in anger. People will forgive and forget when you light up a few World Cups. You're better suited for Euro racing, which is awesome. If it doesn't go well, try again, harder, but don't whine. Makes you look like a huge pussy!

Planet Bike is represented by this tool. Therefore, Planet Bike believes Page represents the company well and are proud to have as the face of the company. Well, this is like having Kenneth Lay of Enron be the spokesperson of an accounting company. As a consumer, I have every right to boycott such a company that has a spokesperson of this caliber. Planet Bike needs to fire Page immediately, and if not then they 100% condone this behavior. As a rider, I will not support this. Boycott Planet Bike.

My comment still stands. At his best he did not get lapped and finished on the same lap as the winners. How many podiums were there in 2009-2010? He got 3rd at Union Cycliste Petange. Killing it dude!

Don't hate on PlanetBike they've sponsored some standup dudes, most notably Tristan and the Lalondes. Page is the exception not the norm.. actually I think that goes for Page and every other dude that's out there racing on the domestic circuit. I believe they dropped their program this year and put all their eggs in Page's basket which probably was not the best move since as everyone has noted, he's headed over to Europe and at best will finish on the same lap as the winners. Good luck with that dude!

That clip from Gloucester last year was the first thing I thought of! I want of GIF of that just looping over and over. Did you happen to get a clip of what went down this year?

Is there a chance we can get him BANNED from America!!! He will likely get millions of Europeans upset at us, simply because he is a total moron. We need to protest his company, organize, write to our congresspersons, and make sure people like this do hard time and never touch a bike again!!!! Cyclingdirt needs to never interview him again, or anyone that ever saw this person, and then, maybe then, we can move on. A sad, dark day. I want his house sold today.

I wonder what his sponsors think of this??

He acted like a PRO on Saturday and yesterday we get the hissy fit because he didn't get on the podium and J-Pow got away from him AGAIN.
