Let's give Trebon the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Its real easy to sit behind a computer screen and throw the guy under the bus, but unless your competing at this level and understand the pressures and expectations, you might have a different take on it.

The negative posts here are amazingly unfair. It seems like hate and jealousy. If anything, that is what's wrong with cycling . . . and every other aspect of life. Be happy. Cycling is fun. Trebon adds to the fun.

Why would a guy that finished 6th be headed to the podium? Of course he wants to win, and he often does, but as a PRO he has a job to do. That's to represent his sponsors positively and put on a smile....because it's your job. If he's not happy about losing, then he should deal with that on his next training ride. Powers didn't win, we know he wanted to....still did a very classy PRO interview, like he always does. If JPows wins Natz it'll be TREMENDOUS for the USA......GO Jeremy!!!

Tree-Boo-Hoo is one of the many reason the sport of cycling is not attractable for outside people and sponsors....with interviews like that.

In the World of Dale JR, Chuck Liddell, Ricky Carmichael and Lance, this guy looks like a .....please tell me this isn't the best we've got!!

I think some of you got the wrong idea about Ryan in this one. Talking while we walked over to the podium was my idea. We're Cyclingdirt not Charlie Rose.

The guy wants to win, period. He's not happy when he doesn't. That's not the worst quality in the world.

He also embarressed his sponsor KONA. Not with his result, but with his rude interview. No wonder people call the guy "Cryin' Ryan".

Ya would it be too much to ask to stop walking away from the interviewer? If you don't wanna do the interview, just say that. Good job calling him a p ussy tho!

What a head this guy is. I hope he doesn't win Natz again, he's a horrible embassador for our sport. Johnson, Powers, Wells and Wicks are usually great interviews. This guy is a TOOL!
