Cyclingdirt bloggers Andrew Freye and John Burns fly out tomorrow for their first attempt at the BC Bike Race. We have been following their training and preparations here for the last nine weeks as they ready themselves for seven tough days of racing in the Pro Men's Duo Race. Stay tuned for updates as they tackle the race itself, beginning June 28th in BC, Canada.

We are flying Air Canada so the price isn't that bad, $50 per box. Not bad compared to some US air lines which charge $300 per box when flying to Canada. The only down side is last night we realized each bike box counts as a checked piece of luggage (we can have up to 4 checked bags between the two of us) so now we are limited to fitting all of our clothes and sleeping bags into one duffel bag!

Looks like you guys are ready! But three bike boxes to pay to fly with... ouch!
