The Louisiana Offroad Cycling Organization held their annual LOCO Fest and Dirty South Singlespeed Championship at Eddie D. Jones park near Shreveport. This is the club's largest event every year, and they put on a great race and festival. All racers get a free event T-shirt, which is a nice dri-fit fabric to boot! There's also free food all around, and tons of swag for the racers. The trophies and payout are top notch, and the race is held on an amazing trail. The Monkey Trail was featured in MTB Action's "Seven Secret Singletracks" article, which covered the trails in North LA along the I-20 corridor. All this combines to make LOCO Fest a premier LA race and MTB festival.
