Aaron Olsen hammered the flats today which kept him in contention for 2nd place.

Aaron Olsen turning to the dirt? Based on this post race interview from the Kenda Cup West #5 in California, that would seem to be the case. Olsen has been a long time staple on the domestic and international road scene. After riding on three World Championship teams for the USA as a Junior and U23, he turned Pro in 2001 with the Prime Alliance squad. He spent several years in the US riding for teams like Colavita before making the jump to Europe to join the ranks of the Pro Tour. He spent time with Saunier Duval and T-Mobile before recently returning to the States to race for the vacuum team (Bissell.) After loosing so many promising mountain bikers to the road over the past five years, it's refreshing to see one go the other way. Pro Tour to Pro XCT... I guess we're doing something right.
