Rags to riches is a story we don't hear too often in the world of Cycling, let alone Mountain Bike racing. This sport tends to be practiced by those who have had the basic resources at hand to pay for their passion: a bike, the entry fee, even a helmet and clothes. Those who have nothing, for the most part, aren't working day and night, tirelessly saving money to chase their dreams as a pro bike rider. I say "for the most part" because of guys like Manuel Prado. Manny, as you probably know him, has one of the most remarkable stories of anyone to take the line, at any mountain bike race, anywhere.
