So I just found out the parks, tourist community & etc approved my request for the addtional events next year. Next step is putting the proposal in front of the city council. Pending approval, it looks like we are on for my Cross country event & CRIT race. I will keep posting as it progresses.

So I recently(JUNE) put on my first bike race series this year. When all was said & done, I think I would have made somewhere in the $.10-$.20 an hour range for all the work it took to put on. I just want to take a moment to get up here & say, one the record, for all the world to hear: THANK YOUR RACE DIRECTORS, PROMOTERS, SPONSORS< OFFICIALS, & VOLUNTEERS!!!! Thursday's In Medford are Champion Thursday Nighter's A local Crit type road race that runs around a drag race track. This being my first year doing road race, I have modist goals for this year.. First, I would like to finnish in the Peleton. I know this may seem somwhat of a strange thing to aim for, I want to be middle of a pack finnisher! Yeah!. So I am sitting here reflecting on a mountain season past, reflecting on my efforts of this year, & reviewing my results. Mudslinger....20min faster, same bike & gear ratio. Chain Breaker....again faster, same ratio. Ashland, 8min behind my target time, 2x1 ratio. TOE....The race I trained all year for, great first lap, on target for my target time of sub 6hrs.....lost all feeling in my legs, finished 20min slower this year. 50 miles & 8000ft of climbing I was fried.
