This weekend I headed over to Washington D.C. to race in DCCX. I was doing the mens Cat 3/4 race. I warmed up my legs by preriding the courese about 4 times and just riding around. I started in the third row, which was kinda freaky with guys in front of you and guys merging everywhere. When the race started I tried to hang out on Gunnar Bergey wheel, which didn't work out to good, because he dropped me like a sack of potatoes. There was a long section which was really tough, unless you were working with a group. As the race went on, I finally felt comfortable drafting with a group of guys, which made feel a lot better. The lap card showed 1, so I picked up the pace and finished 29 out of 80. I thought I could of had a better result, but I was happy overall. After the race, I enjoyed watching the rest of Adventures for the Cure race. They also had really good french fries there. Next race; Tachinno Cyclocross
