This past weekend I raced at the six hours of power in Ellicottville NY, race #2 of NYSERS. The field was pretty deep 83 starters in the solo category and 40 teams. The race started with about a 200yrd run that worked out alright for me I started at the back and ran my way to about mid pack. The course was pretty challenging allot of single track which was great until you had to pass or be passed by someone. Pat Wallace won the solo male category and Michelle Johnson won the women's solo, I was 35th solo overall and 11th 30-34 age group.
Next weekend I will probably head out to Mt Snow for the Root 66 race, probably, I should go I need to suffer more and bust my Mt Snow DNF slump, The last time I finished an XC race their was 2006, last year I DNF'd in the root 66 short track race(front tire Exploded on lap3 sounded like a shotgun) and the XC race.

I dont think I could live with myself if I missed the US Cup races at Windham and Mt Snow. The course changes at Windham look really cool,a tunnel under the 4X course and a 108ft bridge over the DH course.
