This past Saturday May 16 was the first race of NYSERS(New York State Endurance Racing Series)held at Highland forest park in Fabius NY, the weather was great for the first five hours after that a thunder storm moved in that produced a tornado 10 to 15 miles away from the race,other than the crazy weather the race was great. I don't know the results yet because I didn't stick around afterward (I was waterlogged) the race field was much larger than last year hopefully the results will be posted on the Bike lofts website soon. The next NYSERS race is at the legendary Plattekill in Roxbury NY on may 30.
Just got the results I was 8th in my age group which bums me out a little Ive never been out of the top five in a six hour race.
the overall results were 1st Cameron Cogburn only rider to do 8 laps,2nd Pat wallace, 3rd Terry Blanchet, Bryna Nester was the only solo women and came in at 7th in the overall.
