Jamey Driscoll took his second UCI win of the season and of the weekend today at the UCI C1 race in Iowa City. The final day of racing at Jingle Cross was highlighted by a huge 200 ft. vertical climb that riders saw twice each lap. Driscoll got away solo early in the race and never looked back. A hard charging Todd Wells nearly caught him in the final laps but left his chase a half a lap too late. Ryan Trebon suffered more bad luck and fell to 4th after rolling a tire and crashing late giving Chris Jones the final step on the podium. Troy Wells capped off his best weekend of the year with another 5th place. The former U23 National Champ seems to be coming around just in time for championship season. Current U23 contender Zach McDonald finished 7th and was the top U23.

Amanda Miller backed up her Saturday performance by taking her second win of the weekend at today's UCI C1. Meredith Miller again had a crash keep her from contending for the win but she was able to hold on to second. Nicole Duke rode in the front group for a lot of the day and rounded out the podium with another great result. In a preview of Nationals, two of the USA's top U23 women went head to head with Kaitlin Antonneau just edging out Ashley James.
