Ryan Trebon made up for crashing out last night by winning the second race at Iowa City's Jingle Cross. Trebon attacked late in the race and put 30 seconds into second place by the finish line. Wells improved from Friday to finish second. Wells was back hopping barries this afternoon after nearly breaking his leg on a barrier-hop gone wrong two weeks ago in Ft. Collins. Chris Jones was in the mix all day, trying his own attacks mid race but would eventually finish 3rd. Barry Wicks used the day's long, 200 ft. vertical muddy run-up to his advantage and finished a very respectable 4th. Zach McDonald was again the top U23 today in 13th place, two spots ahead of 50+ year old Steve "The Fossil" Tilford.

Amanda Miller attacked over the climb on lap 1 and soloed home for a huge UCI win! Meredith Miller looked sure to take second but rolled a tire late in the race allowing Nicole Duke to make it 1-2 for Hudz-Subaru. Meredith Miller and Devon Haskell came into the final lap together but a crash by Miller gave the final step on the podium to Haskell. Ashley james in 6th was the top U23 while yesterdays U23 champ, Kaitlin Antonneau, fell all the way back to 18th. Sunday will be the third and final day of Jingle Cross and the only UCI C1.
