Combined, Heather Irmiger and Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski won nearly every title up for grabs in 2009. Series Championships, National Championships, and even a World Championship (SS) now sit in there trophy case (or on their skin, in the case of the S.S. title.) We are happy to announce that both JHK and Heather have joined the Cyclingdirt Network. Head over and check out their new sites now!
More Info:
Over the past three years, Cyclingdirt has developed a web platform with its in-house programming team. Through tedious hours of trial and error, critique from the community, and trying to reinvent the media coverage possibilities for cycling, we have a platform that we are excited about.
The basic components of this platform: simple video uploading and sharing, an easy to operate content management system, and straightforward video production methods; have allowed us at Cyclingdirt to do more things with a few guys and hundred dollar cameras, than many media giants can do with hundreds of people and million dollar budgets.
We got to thinking, and believed that many in the community could benefit from this technology, and we could support what we do by building sites for those in the community. We got some of the people we were close with to do their sites and have perfected our methods. Now, we want to give you and the entire community the same capability to share your unique message efficiently and seamlessly with our technology.
In plain English: Cyclingdirt will build a website that fits your unique needs with the same technology platform as Cyclingdirt.
Some other features of the platform: Your videos will be integrated into your website, Cyclingdirt.org, and the entire Cyclingdirt Network. From the very first day you go live you will have access to Cyclingdirt's entire library of videos and coverages and the means to upload your own videos at will. Your site and content will be featured and promoted on Cyclingdirt by uploading your own videos and Cyclingdirt featuring them, graphic links below videos, and featuring within the Cyclingdirt Network page. You have the abilitly to blog, post photo albums, post articles, schedules, sponsors, bios,... the possibilitly are endless.
